2008 BMW CCA Club Racing School Photos!

2007 BMW CCA Club Racing School Photos!

Gateway International Raceway

2008

This was my second time instructing at the BMW CCA Club Racing School!
These are always such a blast to instruct for!

Ripped off splitter He-Man Damon! My car in the shadow of Damon's E30 M3!
One of the exercises that weekend... was to do practice starts... over and over again.

A cool shot of our cars.
This guy had lost his radiator cap somewhere out on track.
So I loaned him one from my M5.
We changed up the starting order several times. Great shot out on the oval. More oval action.

Yawn... another shot coming out of turn 2. This was the first time I had ever seen a Spec 944 race. It was pretty cool, but I wish there were enough entries for a Spec E30 race too.

There were a couple of these really weird cars in my run group...
It was pretty cool, but I wish there were enough entries for a Spec E30 race too.
From behind, the thing looked like a spider with all the rearview mirrors...

I love these shots of the Gateway Arch in the background.

There was actually a tornado spotted a couple of miles away!

This was a great pass by Alex... coming down the front straight... in our mock race that Saturday.

He wasn't able to make it stick though... and I got him back in the infield by the end of the race, this was the gap between us.

On Sunday, I let Brent Meyer take the car out He's the Porsche 944 driver and was able to pass his team mate, Robert Phelan.

General shot of the paddock. Another shot after the rain. Sean Racine and Alex checking out his new seats.

Greg brought his newly built Mini Cooper! He trailered it all the way from Conneticuit. This thing was amazing!

He built it all himself. Using lots of carbon fiber and lexan. Of course it was loaded with lots of trick parts.

Vince Ko and Dr. Ken chatting. Kat watching her husband out in my car. Gratuetous shot of the M5.
