1988 BMW M5 - For Sale (page 2)

WBSDC930XJ2875111
Build Date: 10/1987

I took a bunch of new photos on 6/22/08 showing what the car looks like today.
If you are interested in buying this car, feel free to email me by clicking here.

The big difference between these photos and the shots from the previous page is in the wheels. Last Fall I was driving the other M5 and hit a pretty significant pot-hole which bent two of the Mille Miglia 5-spoke rims. While they were out being repaired, I put the BBS wheels on and they have really grown on me. So the car that's for sale currently has a set of cheap E36 wheels, but the Mille Miglia wheels are what's going to come with the car.

Freshly washed. Notice the set of E36 wheels. The engine compartment could use some cleaning too. The rubber bumper inserts have the "wave" that these cars exhibit after 20 years.

This side is pretty wave-free. Detail of the fuel door. Driver's side door.

Close up of the Euro headlights. Close up of the front bumper inserts. This is kind of a pointless shot.

Those floor mats are old and faded. The dash is prefectly crack free. The driver's seat is missing the /// badge.

Driver's side rear door panel. The seat colors don't appear to be this off in person. Passenger side rear door panel.

The back seat is in pretty good shape. I should have just put the black floor mats in there. The passenger side of the rear seat.

I took these lights apart and repainted them. Of course I polished the rings as well. This was a mess when I bought the car. What you see here is my amateur attempt at cleaning it up.

The info sticker. Dash gauge pod. The one on the left is the one for sale.

I need to get some better shots of them side by side. The visual difference between Euro and US-spec headlights. This is kind of a pointless shot.
