Must sell '87 325e 4dr. Interior in nice shape, factory 14 inch alloys with BFG's in decent shape, Sunroof, 5spd, gearbox shifts great, engine runs fair.

Drives, runs, and all the basics, but the paint is rough and has left front corner damage (fender, bumper, lower valance). Steering is fine, grill and lights ok, no rad. core suport damage. Bolt on parts will fix it fine.

Needs some TLC and a new home.
Track car or Club race ride? Parts car? Planter?
It's gotta go as I have to much stuff!
$650 or best offer.
Please contact Bryan C. 800 xxx-xxx ext. xxx days or 314 xxx-xxxx cell.

Hey Bryan,
I saw that you're selling your BMW on the club site! If you haven't sold it yet, I'm interested!

Let's talk at the Banquet this weekend! You're going to be there right?

Monday, January 13, 2003 1:37 PM
Pete,
$500 and it's yours! It runs fine, but has a small water leak. Maybe a quart of water every oil change.
It'll make a kickass track car with a cage and four shocks. For real, $500 and it's yours! You could drive it home from the convention!
Call me to talk it over, 800 xxx-xxxx

That's great! It is a manual right? How late are you going to be at the office? I'm a little wrapped up with a project right now, but I can call ya later in the day if you're going to still be around!

Heh! This is so cool!
Let me know what time is good to call ya. I have a board (bored) meeting tonight, so I'll be here at the office until at least 6:30...

Yo Dude,
You can call me anytime. I'll be here till 5:30 or so, maybe later if needed.

It's a 5 spd, and a sweet one at that. It is the best shifting one I've ever driven. I'm sure it could be better with new bushings or a short shift kit. BTW shocks are cheep for this thing. Under $400 for a decent set of four.

A little TLC, some trips to the boneyard and "BAM" instant racecar!

Sweet! It'll make it home from the convention right? :) I can probably have the $$ for you this weekend! You never said if you were going to be at the banquet. I assume you are... right? Let me do some quick budgeting when I get home and I'll let ya know tomorrow.

Do you have any documentation on what's been done to it? Have you done any work to it? How about the title, is there one?

Hey, when I pick it up, can you make sure the blinker fluid is topped off? I wouldn't want to run out on the way back to da Lou!

Monday, January 13, 2003 4:36 PM
Sold American!
I'll be at the vention, and I thunk that you and Miranda were staying in my crib! As for title, I have one, but never registered the car. For a racecar who needs a title?

As for work, I did the normal maintenance, plus a fan clutch, plus getting the A/C up and blowin' cold. I also did plugs and an air filter. I'll top up the fluid's for the trip to da' louey.

Heck, I'll even make sure it's got enough fuel!
Let me know whenever!

Whooohoooo! That sounds great, you da man!

What's up with the windshield? Is it gone or just cracked? No biggie, I just want to know how cold of a drive it's going to be on the way back... and if I should bring my goggles :)

The radiator problem... does it have to be replaced or is it just a bad hose? Will it overheat on the way back to da Lou?

Oh, and the car is black right? How is the rust situation? Have you ever checked out the floorboards?

You don't happen to have any pics of it that you can email do ya? I just want to show M pics of the new money pit... I, I, mean car :)

Pete,
The chassis is pretty solid, with no rust problem that I know of. The floors are good. The windshield is ok to drive, but it won't pass a tech inspection. It's cracked on both sides. The water prob. is the pump I think, but won't swear to anything. It just has an antifreeze smell once in a while, and needs a quart or so of water every couple thousand miles. Could be a leaky hose for all I know. The radiator is fine, no leaks.

It is black, no rust 'cept for the crunched fender. It's just surface on that.

Seriously, you could strip the interior, bolt in a race seat, cage, net, fire ex. and fit four new shocks and a windshield, and your racing! Of course, I'd check the brake pads, rotors, brake lines, etc. I'd change all the fluids in the car, and you gotta strap down the sunroof per the rules. You can buy a GCR rulebook at the convention. Sorry, no pics.

Find a shot of an 87 325 4 dr, blk, and that's it. BTW, the color might be more flat black than black!
later
